1)THE SOCIAL OR ENTERTAINMENT DRINKER.This is the first group of alcoholic drinkers.the social drinker.They drink for the following reasons
1.To be popular.
2.To fit in
3.At parties
4.To experiment
5.To "feel high"
33% of all drinkers fit into that bracket.They can stop if they really want.It's a question of someone controlling their thoughts,action and making a good decision,"i'm stopping drinking now!".
2) THE EMOTIONAL DRINKERS.These are people who drink out of emotions,maybe they lost a loved one,maybe they feel inferior etc.They can only stop drinking if they find a very good "substitute" to drinking.This means that slightly over 50% of drinkers in all groups can stop drinking if they are given enough help.The 33% who can stop drinking are people from the first group only.
