Trees have a special type of beat in their bodies similiar to a heartbeat although it is not a "heart" of the tree that does the beating.This discovey was made by scientists Andras Zlinszky,Bence Molnar and Anders S.Barfod from Hungary and Denmark.They used the most advanced monitoring equipment known as "terrestrial laser scanning" to survey the movement of twenty two different types of trees.Trees sleep at night and have routine beats pulsate throughout the day.These beats is the tree distributing water throughout its body,like the heart pumps blood throught the body.It was believed that osmosis distributed water to the body of the tree.This research will in no doubt change or cahllenge the osmosis theory.What attracted me to this discovery is that in the bible trees can resemble people.A "heartbeat" from a tree and a heartbeat from a person,Wow!
